Round Three, Ding Ding Ding!

Well, folks, we’ve officially completed the first part of this injectables marathon. Josh just wrapped up his third round, and I’m happy to report that he’s looking pretty darn good, all things considered.

Sure, he’s tired. Like, “I could sleep for a week and still wake up yawning” tired. And yes, there are the usual side effects – the nausea, the chills, the general sense of “why is my body doing this to me?” But overall, he’s holding his own. We’re managing the symptoms, keeping him comfortable, and most importantly, he’s still cracking jokes (albeit slightly more slowly than usual).

We’ve got four more days of this madness to go, and then the real fun begins. But for now, we’re celebrating the small victories. We’re grateful for the good days, we’re learning to navigate the tough ones, and we’re holding onto hope with a white-knuckle grip.

Because that’s what this is all about, isn’t it? Hope. The unwavering belief that even in the face of the unknown, there’s always a reason to keep fighting. And as long as Josh keeps fighting, we’ll be right there beside him, every step of the way.

So let’s raise a glass (or a ginger ale, in Josh’s case) to round three. We’re making progress. And we’re not slowing down now.
